The systems we build need documentation as precise as the work itself. As a Technical Writer at Precept, you'll turn complex automation into clear, usable guides for the people who run and maintain it.

The role

You'll create manuals, commissioning guides, and operator training, working with engineers to make complicated systems understandable. This is part-time work with real impact: good documentation is what lets a line run without us standing next to it.

What you'll do

Write and maintain technical documentation across our systems, partner with engineering to capture how things actually work, and keep guides accurate as systems evolve. You'll bring structure and clarity to dense technical material.

What you'll bring

A strong technical writing background, an eye for precision, and the ability to learn complex systems quickly. You can sit with an engineer, understand what they built, and explain it to someone who has to use it.

Bonus points

Experience documenting hardware, automation, or manufacturing systems, or a technical background of your own.
